Sam grew up in nearby Farmersburg, Indiana.  He is the oldest of three brothers.  After graduating from North Central High School in Farmersburg, Sam earned a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University – Bloomington in 2009 and his law degree from Creighton University School of Law in 2012.

Sam joined the Rowe Law Firm in October of 2012 and practices primarily in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, commercial transactions, natural resources and energy development, business formation, and general civil litigation.  In addition to those areas of practice, Sam represents several towns, cities, and school corporations in Greene County and has been a registered family law mediator in Indiana since 2022. Sam has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers each year since 2020 and has been rated “Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell since 2024.

Sam lives in Bloomington with his wife, Leandra, and their children, Jackson, Scarlett, and Amelia.  Avid Indiana University football fans, the family rarely misses an IU football game.  In his free time, Sam also enjoys traveling, playing golf with his friends, boating on Lake Monroe with his family, and finding new breweries with Leandra.
