John was raised on a farm near Jasonville, IN. After graduating from Shakamak High School in 1966, John attended Purdue University, where he was able to squeeze a four-year degree into five years. John opened his law practice in his hometown in 1974, moving the location to Linton, IN in 2001. John has represented multiple generations of clients and been blessed with clients who have become friends. John and his wife, Debi, continue to live in the home on the farm they purchased near Worthington, IN, in 1976, where they raised three children. They also have five grandsons and one granddaughter. John enjoys working outdoors and hiking.
